2014 July: Cheadle Unite Response to SMDC Regarding Housing Proposals 3/3

Regarding the Housing Numbers

Cheadle has already accommodated the following housing provision

Looks likely to already accommodate (to 2031)

   Total 931

If SMDC can move the 389 shortfall to regeneration around the Potteries as a priority our growth is still very high:

Cheadle  931*2.4 = 2234 new residents 12,166 population = 18.4% growth

This would avoid fresh site allocations and hopefully lead to a positive future between Cheadle Residents and SMDC.

Cheadle Unite.
